What's Happening
 
Rotary Club of Mead recognized two students on October 29th for their service, character, leadership, engagement, extracurricular participation, and scholastic achievements.
 
DJ Vicente is a Senior who was nominated by Mr. Lemons, Mead High band/music teacher.
Hayley Price is a Senior who was nominated by Mrs. Berry, Mead High choir teacher.

CALL TO ARTISTS
Mercantile Exchange & Provisions and Rotary Club of Mead are introducing an exciting exhibition centering on Weld County artists.  We strive to present a varied and eclectic collection showcasing many different mediums, styles and techniques. The exhibit is open to 2D and 3D submissions.  We invite all artists residing in Weld County to apply.  Works need not be for sale.  No commission will be charged.
 
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists, 18 years or older, who reside in Weld County.
 
Application Deadline: November 29th, 2021, Artists will be informed of entry by December 4th.
 
Work Size: EXAMPLE: 4’X4’, 80 LB. MAX
 
Entry Requirements:
 
1.     Cover letter describing exhibition proposal.
 
2.     Maximum of Ten digital images sent via email to lori@themerc.online. Images should be presented in JPEG format with image size set to 300 dpi
resolution, 4″ x 6″ image size, approximately.
 
3.     Artist Resume including biography, educational background, and exhibition record.
 
4.     The Gallery has the right to photograph the artwork for publicity purposes
 
5.     Artist assumes full liability of the work displayed at "The Gallery"
 
Timeline:  Exhibit will run from December 10th – 12th
 
Entries Due: November 29th
 
Selection Process: Curated by Elaine Waterman, Executive Director of the Firehouse Art Center, Longmont.
 
Notification to artist: By November 30th via email
 
Reception: December 10th, 6pm
 
Sales: The Gallery will charge no commission but will charge tax on art sold. The Gallery will collect the payment for the artist: however, the artist is responsible for terms of any sale. Your payment will be rebated to your address within 45 days of the close of the show.  Art need not be for sale
